Beer Can Chicken is Done!

Oh yeah! The first 2011 cook is a great success. The skin is tasty and the meat is tender.  Incredible flavor!  :)

The first picture are my two WSM’s Porky and Miss Piggy. They are patiently awaiting their turn to smoke up some BBQ, but not today. Today belongs to my Char-Grilled Smokin’ Pro, Boss Hog!

It’s on!!!  2 beer can chickens and a few cheese brats. It’s a relatively small cook, but it’s a start for the season.

This little fire I’m starting is not for the beer can chicken cook, it’s actually for cleaning my grates that have been idle for almost the entire winter.  I’m smoking cheese brats and beer can chicken today. Stay tuned for more!

ISBBQ is Back in Action!

It has been a long time since I have had the opportunity to really focus on what I love to do… cook low and slow barbecue. Well, several things has changed in my life making it once again possible to indulge myself in the art of Smoke! :) Get ready to enjoy the ride with me as I write new articles and post lots of pictures all year round. It’s time to get out my smokers and let the chimneys send up those savory signals of BBQ delight!
